Online MBA Reference: Corporate Finance Courses gets a make over

2 mins read

Learning Corporate Finance, our Corporate Finance course portal crossed a number of milestones in August. To begin with we crossed the landmark 10,000 visitors and 25,000 page views milestone in 6 months. In addition to Corporate Finance this month we also added an online MBA reference covering course work from my Columbia Business School days, articles from Bottomline (the Columbia Business School student magazine), sample projects and an MBA Frequently Asked Questions post.

Monthly traffic in August exceeded 5,000 visitors and 10,000 page views for the first time. The number of online finance courses and finance case studies including detailed finance case walkthroughs crossed 23. We decided to do a third makeover and switched to a new theme that should bring more content out to you in a less cluttered format.

Despite being the oldest course on the site, The First Course in Corporate Finance, remained the most viewed course. Traffic came from 150 countries and 2,000 cities with the most page views (11 pages) and time spent (23 minutes) by visitors from the developing world and frontier markets (Burma, Armenia, Uruguay, Yemen, Bosnia, Tanzania, Nigeria, Mozambique, Bolivia and Zimbabwe). The top courses in August were:

  1. Corporate Finance: First Course | Learning Corporate Finance – 221 Views
  2. Calculating Forward Prices, Forward Rates and Forward Rate Agreements (FRA) – Calculation reference | Learning Corporate Finance – 185 Views
  3. Credit derivatives – Total return swaps, asset swaps and credit default options | Learning Corporate Finance – 183 Views
  4. Structured Products: Basic Products, sample term sheet and pricing | Learning Corporate Finance – 163 Views

I hope that the new layout will make it easy to find content and courses. Please feel free to drop me a line if there is an area where we can add and create content or make your overall experience at the Corporate Finance reference site more useful and practical.
