The process generally depends on the FI’s credit rating; an analysis of its financial health and strength primarily by measuring certain financial, NPL, liquidity etc ratios; and the FI’s profiles such as its history, nature of business, types of business, product offerings, branch network and compliance with know-your-customer (KYC) procedures.
